Unfortunately accidents do occur, and sometimes a claim is inevitable.
Viasea wishes to assist you as efficient as possible, and therefore ask you to alert us immediately after an incident has occurred.
We prefer you do the following when filing a claim::
state the date when claim is filed/sent
clarify when the damage found place or were discovered
alert us as soon as possible, preferably the same day as damage is found
Explain where the damage was found
take photos of the damaged goods
take photos of container, including container number
if the damage is regarding waterdamages you, as a customer, have to document it. A tip is to be two persons at time of unloading. One person goes into the container and closes the doors, if the container is damaged it will be visible light from the outside. Try to take a photos of the damage from the inside og the container.
