This weekend negotiations between the unions and The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) for salary and terms, unfortunately, ended with no result.We are facing a strike for hundreds of companies and 24.000 workers in Norway. Viasea is not directly affected, but customers or other partners might be.

If the parties do not come to an agreement during this week, more companies will be at strike from Friday 21st April.
 
Some ferry-operated road connections are affected by the strike and are running with reduced capacity. This might cause delays in transport in Norway.
 
Please clarify with your customers in Norway that their warehouse is open for receiving goods upon arrival.
