Following the successful acquisition of Viasea Shipping AS by Ellerman City Liners Limited in November 2025, we are pleased to announce the next stage of the integration process.
Effective 1 November 2026, the business activities currently managed by Viasea Shipping AS (Norway) will transfer to Ellerman City Liners Limited. This transition is part of the ongoing integration of Viasea Shipping AS into the Ellerman Group and will enable us to operate more efficiently while continuing to deliver the reliable service and local expertise our customers value.
Importantly, this change applies only to activities currently managed by Viasea Shipping AS in Norway. Existing arrangements with Viasea entities in the Netherlands, Estonia, Poland, and the United Kingdom remain unchanged.
What This Means for Customers
Our priority is ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to your business.
Your Contacts Remain the Same
Customers will continue working with the same experienced Viasea team and trusted points of contact. There will be no changes to the people supporting your business.
As part of the integration, team members will transition to Ellerman email addresses. Viasea email addresses will remain active for a period following the transfer, and all correspondence will be automatically forwarded.
No Changes to Existing Shipments Before the Transition
For services provided by Viasea Shipping AS before the effective transfer date, or for shipments sailing before the designated cut-off voyages, existing arrangements will continue to apply.
Customers will continue to receive invoices from Viasea Shipping AS and should make payments to the existing Viasea Shipping AS bank accounts.
Services After the Transition
From the cut-off voyages listed below onwards, Ellerman City Liners Limited will become the contracting party for all cargo carried on these services and subsequent voyages, regardless of when the booking was originally made.
