Vessel Retrofit: Energy in Dry Dock
Our vessel Energy will undergo a significant retrofit starting 27 October for approximately four weeks. The upgrade includes the installation of a new propeller and bulbous bow, boosting both performance and fuel efficiency. After the dry dock, Energy will return as a more sustainable and efficient vessel, ready to meet upcoming emissions standards and new tax regulations.
Temporary Service Changes:
- Vanquish will replace Energy on the Rotterdam – Norway route.
- Jork Ruler will temporarily take over Energy's butterfly services.
- Vanquish has a smaller capacity than Energy, so cargo space will be adjusted accordingly.
- Butterfly services will maintain the same capacity, but call days at KLJ and GDY will change (weeks 44–47).
- There will be no direct call to Thamesport during this period, and alternative setups may affect lead times.
- No northbound call to Moss on Tuesday departures from Rotterdam.
Operational Adjustments Post-Strike
Good news – the strike is officially over! However, we will continue to see some residual effects in the coming weeks. Any schedule changes will be communicated via Softpak customer bulletins.
